A Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, the 2024 Sherry Cask Release, bottled by the distillery at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky combines peated and unpeated malt, matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry butts.
The tasting notes begin on the nose with Murray mint, bonfire on the beach, salted peanut ice cream and sundried tomatoes. The palate brings tarry rope, smoky bacon and peanut brittle alongside red plum and cherry, and the finish recalls sea salt, a bothy fireplace and a cigar shop.
