A limited-edition Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, created as a tribute to the Highland midge. This is the second batch.
The spirit is 75% unpeated and 25% peated, and it matured in 50% ex-bourbon barrels, 48% Port barriques and 2% sherry casks. The mix brings together sweet fruit and gentle smoke.
It is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, and 17,000 bottles were released.
