Ardnamurchan – Cask 427 AD/12:14 Single Malt (59.6%)

This is a single cask Highland malt from Ardnamurchan, bottled at a cask strength of 59.6%. It matured for six years in a PX sherry cask and was bottled in 2021, filling 326 bottles. Ardnamurchan was built by Adelphi, and the distillery officially opened on 25 June 2014. The whisky has a bronze colour. The nose is of sour cherry, melon juice and sherry, with a hint of a whisky warehouse. On the palate come bitter oranges, sherry, salted peanuts and light chocolate.
