This is the Heritage Barley Release 2025 from Ardnamurchan, a Highlands single malt. The nose offers milk chocolate, candied cherries, lime liqueur, marzipan and apricot jam, with acacia honey that has a salty edge and a touch of grass. The palate is oily, with marzipan and sugared almonds, salted cashews and subtle pistachio. A soft, creamy sweetness runs through it, alongside rich orange cake and baked apples.
