This Ardnamurchan single malt is a Madeira cask release from the Highlands.
The nose brings cocoa powder, stewed plums, sugared almonds and bread and butter pudding, with nutmeg, sandalwood, bracken, fruit pastry and redcurrants behind.
On the palate come cinnamon sweets, cedar bark, salted trail mix with chocolate pieces, rosemary, candied apple, pine needles and strawberries with black pepper. The finish is medium in length and dry.
