This Ardnamurchan single malt was distilled in 2017 and matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks. It then received a finish in champagne casks from Paul Launois, and is bottled at 57.4%.
The palate opens with full, dry oak and macadamia nuts, while the citrus sharpness from the nose is still clear. Nutmeg, peach, cocoa liqueur and sharp vanilla follow, with a light peppery tingle.
