Ardnamurchan – Sauternes Cask 2024 (70cl, 50%)

This is a limited edition single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery in the Highlands, released in 2024 at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent five and a half years in ex-bourbon casks, then a further 30 months in Sauternes wine casks, the finish that gives the bottling its name. Honey and dried fruit are the notes usually described, followed by a lightly spiced finish.
