The Midgie is a 2026 release of single malt from Ardnamurchan, a distillery in the western Highlands. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
Ardnamurchan's story begins in 1826, when Charles and David Gray founded a distillery in Glasgow; it closed in 1968. Their descendants set up the independent bottler Adelphi in 1993 and in 2007 decided to reopen the distillery in the western Highlands. Single malt has been running from the stills there since 2014.
