This is a Highland single malt whisky from Ardnamurchan, the distillery's first bottling matured in Tokaji casks. It is unpeated and bottled at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The spirit comes from 28 bourbon barrels that were refilled into Tokaji casks, together with 2 casks matured wholly in bourbon wood. In all, 8,736 bottles were filled.
On the nose it is bright and fruity, with pear and green apple, floral touches and a slightly funky edge. The palate brings almonds, nashi pear, sweet and salty popcorn, spice, candied ginger and fine wood notes. The finish is salty, spicy and balanced.
