Arran 10 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Arran 10 Year Old is a single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, and the distillery's flagship expression. It is unpeated and was matured for ten years in a selection of oak casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The house style is citrus-led, fruity, sweet and gently spiced. The nose is citrus fruit, sweet barley and vanilla, with fresh apple and soft oak behind. On the palate, vanilla sweetness leads, then cinnamon, creamy malt and orchard fruit. The finish is clean, with lingering sweetness, baked apple, citrus zest and a little warm cinnamon.
