This is a 14 year old single malt from Arran, made at Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and it brings the 14 year old age statement back to the core range.
The whisky is matured mainly in Bourbon barrels, with a proportion of Palo Cortado sherry casks added to the vatting.
The nose offers fruit syrup, ripe apple and mandarin with cereal sweetness and a hint of coastal salt. The palate is viscous, with salted apple, toffee and ripe mango. Soft oak and a light saline edge run through the finish.
