A 10 year old single malt from the Lochranza distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Batch 2 is made with Concerto barley grown on the island at Bellevue Farm, where the Currie family farm. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Worldwide, 18,000 bottles were released.
The whisky matures in first-fill bourbon casks and second-fill sherry hogsheads.
The nose is fresh citrus and herbs with soft vanilla and a hint of aniseed. The palate is full and oily, with ginger biscuits, vanilla and ripe orchard fruit. The finish is rich and warming, with sweet spice, vanilla and aniseed.
