Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 56.2%)

Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength is a peated single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from Machrie Moor, the peat bog and standing-stone landscape on the island's west coast. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The whisky comes from the early peated production at Lochranza, before peated spirit moved to the sister distillery at Lagg in 2019. Arran's orchard-fruit character runs through the smoke and earthy peat. The nose brings bright citrus, earthy peat, soft smoke and vanilla. On the palate there are orchard fruit, toasted brioche, red berries and sweet smoke. The finish carries peat smoke, chocolate, vanilla and coconut.
