Arran – Robert Burns Single Malt (43%)

Arran Robert Burns Single Malt is a tribute to the Scottish poet Robert Burns and is recognised by the World Burns Federation. It comes from the Arran distillery at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, which makes unpeated whisky. It is bottled at 43% ABV, not chill filtered and without artificial colouring. The nose is fresh, with green apple, pear and citrus, light honey sweetness, subtle floral notes, vanilla and soft oak. The palate is round and soft, with apple, toffee and light spice over malt and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and smooth, with light spice, almond and soft citrus.
