As We Get It Islay

As We Get It Islay is a single malt bottled by Ian Macleod from the casks of an undisclosed distillery, with only the best of them vatted together. It is bottled straight from the cask without chill-filtration, so strength and colour differ from one bottling to the next. The colour is corn. The nose is lightly sweet smoke with barley, vanilla and caramel. The palate is powerful, with sweetness met by well-balanced smoke and oak spice. The finish is long and spicy, with peat and oak in harmony.
