Asaka Yamazakura Single Cask is a Japanese whisky drawn from a single oak cask selected for the Whisky Lovers Nagoya 2025 Limited Edition. The distillery stands in Koriyama on Honshu. Its roots go back to 1765 as a sake brewery, and it moved into whisky production in 1949.
The nose offers toffee, caramel and vanilla with a touch of spice. On the palate come dried apricots, roasted almonds and cinnamon, with a lingering sweetness. The finish is long and warming.
