This is an Australian rye whisky from Backwoods Distilling Co, Batch 6, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The recipe brings together heritage rye grain, winter wheat, malted barley and chocolate malt in a single blend. It was aged in an ex-Shiraz barrel, which adds further complexity to the flavour.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
