Bain's Cape Mountain is a South African single grain whisky from the James Sedgwick Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is made from 100% South African maize and double matured in first-fill bourbon casks.
The nose brings vanilla, honey, ripe banana and toffee, with coconut, citrus and a little oak. The palate is soft and creamy, with caramel, vanilla, tropical fruit, roasted nuts and a touch of spice. The finish is medium and smooth, with vanilla, oak, honey and gentle spice.
