Baker's 13 Year Old is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, released as a limited edition in a 750ml bottle at 53.5% ABV (107 proof). Each bottle is numbered to the barrel it came from.
It belongs to the Beam Small Batch Collection and was matured for thirteen years in Kentucky. The mash bill is 77% corn, 13% rye and 10% malted barley.
The nose offers toasted oak, caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. On the palate come brown sugar, baking spice and roasted nuts, followed by a long, warming, oak-forward finish.
