It is aged in new American oak barrels and then finished in Spanish brandy casks, which adds fruit-forward richness and subtle sweetness to the Jim Beam style. It belongs to the Signature Craft line, a small batch series of experimental finishes. The nose shows light caramel, toasted oak and hints of dried fruit with a soft brandy sweetness. The palate is smooth and balanced, with vanilla, honeyed fruit, gentle spice and warm oak. The finish is of medium length, with lingering sweetness and a touch of toasted wood.
