Blunderbuss is a single malt from Bakery Hill, a family-owned Australian distillery, in a 50cl bottle at 55% ABV.
It is made from five year old Bakery Hill whisky, aged first in ex-beer barrels and then for a further two years in ex-stout barrels.
Honey, leather, coastal peat and dried stone fruit mark the nose. On the palate come caramel, roasted malt, dark chocolate and cracked pepper, and the long finish brings milk chocolate, pear and salted caramel.
