Bakery Hill Classic Cask Strength is an Australian single malt whisky from a family-owned distillery, in a 50cl bottle at 60% ABV. It is matured for up to 8 years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels that previously held Jack Daniel's.
The nose is sweet and smooth, with vanilla, almond meal and jaffa orange. On the palate it recalls spiced orange Turkish delight, with a fresh, zesty note alongside malty cereal and cocoa, rich and sweet without turning cloying. The finish is deep, with lingering malt richness.
