This is a peated, cask strength single malt from Bakery Hill, a family owned Australian distillery, bottled at 60% in a 50cl bottle. It was matured for up to 8 years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels that previously held Jack Daniel's. The nose is rich with subdued peat, leathery earthiness, kumquat and fruit mince tart. The palate brings tobacco leaf and layers of smoky peat, followed by a long, complex finish.
