Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Baby Blue is a corn whisky from Balcones Distilling in Texas, bottled at 46% abv in a 70cl bottle. It was the first Texas whisky on the market since Prohibition. It is made from roasted heirloom blue corn, a rich and oily maize, and is intentionally youthful. The aim is to keep the freshness of classic American distilling while adding something new to the corn whisky tradition. The palate shows a round nuttiness with roasted overtones, and the mouthfeel is viscous. The finish is soft.
