A 15 year old peated single malt from Ballechin, the heavily peated style made at Edradour since 2003. It is the first release in the Small Batch Cask Strength series, SBCS, from 2022, in an outturn of 3,520 bottles.
The barley was peated to no less than 50 ppm. The whisky is a mix of first-fill bourbon casks and second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at a cask strength of 58.9%. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
It is described as having aromas of wood smoke, sweet fruit and delicate spice.
