A Kentucky straight wheated bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Co., part of its Origin Series, bottled at 106 proof in a 75cl bottle.
The mashbill is 53% corn, 39% wheat and 8% malted barley, and the bourbon is aged for six years. It was distilled, aged and bottled on the estate.
In the tasting notes, ripe apricot and lemon sit over leather and crème brûlée on the nose. The palate is bold, with oak and pastry, leading to a full-bodied, lightly spiced finish.
