This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Co., in a 75cl-style 750ml bottle and bottled at 48% ABV. It is the distillery's first bourbon made entirely from its own estate-distilled spirit, aged for six years.
The mash bill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley, giving a high-rye bourbon with a note of rye spice.
The nose is described as apricot, orange blossom and mint over caramel, nutmeg and oak. On the palate come cinnamon and vanilla, leading to a bold, long finish.
