Bardstown Bourbon Co. 2026 Discovery is a blend of three straight bourbons aged 7, 10 and 11 years, one from Indiana and two from Kentucky. It is bottled at 56.4% ABV (112.8 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The blend then rested for four months in garryana oak barrels, each custom-made and toasted by hand for three hours by Oregon Barrel Works. Summer ageing was chosen for maximum extraction, and the whiskey was proofed gradually before bottling.
The nose offers toasted oak with burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. Dried cherry and cinnamon bark follow on the palate, leading to a long, warming finish shaped by the garryana oak.
