Bardstown Bourbon Company – Discovery 2026 (75cl, 56.4%)

Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery 2026 is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 56.4% in a 750ml bottle. It is a blend of three bourbons: 55% ten-year-old from Indiana, 25% eleven-year-old from Kentucky and 20% seven-year-old from Kentucky. After blending, the bourbon rested a further four months in custom Garryana oak barrels, also called Oregon White Oak, each hand-toasted for three hours by Oregon Barrel Works. This release moves the Discovery series to annual editions and is the first to carry original commissioned artwork by Margaret Archambault. The nose is described as toasted oak, burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. The palate has dried cherry and cinnamon bark, and the long, warming finish carries the spice of Garryana oak.
