Barrell Bourbon New Year 2027 is a cask-strength blend of straight bourbons, bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the tenth anniversary edition of the annual New Year series, which has a different blend each year. This year's blend draws on bourbon from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Maryland, Texas and Ohio, with components aged from 5 to 16 years. The derived mash bill is 73% corn, 22% rye, 4% malted barley and 1% wheat. It is bottled at 116.6 proof (58.3% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. Barrell's notes mention grassy olive oil, maple walnut ice cream, green grape and root beer barrels. On the palate come licorice, malted chocolate, cherry pie, pepper spice, orange rind and cream soda.
