This is a single malt Scotch from Ben Nevis, from the 2012 vintage and bottled by Murray McDavid. It is bottled at 56.4% in a 70cl bottle. Ben Nevis lies at the foot of Scotland's highest mountain, near Fort William in the western Highlands. John McDonald, a descendant of the Lord of the Isles, founded it in 1825. Production paused from 1984 to 1990. Nikka took over in 1989, and the stills were running again a year later. The Allt a' Mhullin burn provides the water.
