This single malt Scotch comes from Ben Nevis and is part of the Old Friends range. It is from the 2012 vintage and is bottled at 57.6% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery sits at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain, near Fort William in the western Highlands. It was built in 1825 by John McDonald, a descendant of the Lord of the Isles. Production was halted between 1984 and 1990. Nikka bought the distillery in 1989, and distilling resumed a year after that. The water comes from the Allt a' Mhullin burn.
