This is a single malt Scotch from Ben Nevis, from the 2012 vintage and part of the Provenance series. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Ben Nevis stands at the foot of Scotland's highest mountain, close to Fort William in the western Highlands. John McDonald, a descendant of the Lord of the Isles, built it in 1825. Production stopped between 1984 and 1990, and after Nikka took over in 1989 it restarted a year later. The distillery draws its water from the Allt a' Mhullin burn.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
