Benromach – 10 Year Old 2014 First Fill Sherry Hogshead Itinéraires Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 58.3%)

This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Benromach, distilled on 15 August 2014 and matured in a first fill sherry hogshead. It was bottled on 10 July 2025 at 58.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, in a release of 304 bottles. Made with Concerto barley and given a long fermentation, it is described as an old school, uncompromising malt. Peat with medicinal notes, vegetable root, salt and florals runs through it, alongside fruit and chocolate whose oxidative character recalls Andalusia.
