This is a Speyside single malt from Benromach, part of the Contrasts range, from the 2012 vintage and bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition and is kosher. The distinctive part is the maturation in air-dried oak casks, which adds layers of vanilla, toasted oak and gentle spice to Benromach's smoky, fruity style. On the palate it is smooth and balanced. The finish is lingering, with natural oak, smoke and delicate fruit sitting together.
