Cara Gold Malt is a limited single malt from Benromach, part of the distillery's Contrasts series, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is made with malted Cara Gold barley alongside lightly peated malt.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The nose brings passionfruit, lychee, lime and malted biscuit. On the palate come pineapple, juicy apricot, black pepper, toasted malt, butterscotch and sweet, smoky honey.
