Benromach – Contrasts: Peat Smoke

Benromach Contrasts: Peat Smoke is a small-batch Speyside single malt made from heavily peated barley and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. The nose is richly smoky, with vanilla, light citrus zest, then apples and white chocolate. On the palate, toasted oak, honey and sweet ripe fruit give way to butterscotch, marshmallow and lemon sherbet, with sweet smoke throughout. The finish is mouth-coating and sweet, with bonfire embers.
