Bernheim 20th Anniversary 10 Year Wheat Whiskey is a small-batch Kentucky straight wheat whiskey from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown. It celebrates 20 years of modern wheat whiskey and Bernheim's part in helping to define the category.
The whiskey spent ten years in new charred American oak and is bottled at 57.5% ABV as a limited edition. It keeps Bernheim's soft wheat character, with more oak and a thicker texture than the standard 90-proof bottling.
The nose offers honeyed wheat, toasted oak, vanilla bean and a little baked apple. The palate is full and velvety, with caramel, brown sugar and warm baking spices, leading to a long, sweet finish of seasoned oak, cinnamon and butterscotch.
