The mash bill is led by winter wheat rather than corn, and the whiskey spent roughly 7 to 9 years in new, charred American oak.
The nose offers sweet grain, vanilla cake, toasted oak, light fruit and warm baking spice. On the palate come caramel, dark berries, citrus zest, wheat sweetness and cracked black pepper. The finish is long and warming, with drying oak, lingering spice and soft grain sweetness.
