Big Peat 15th Anniversary Edition (70cl, 50%)

Big Peat 15th Anniversary Edition is a blended malt Scotch whisky made entirely from Islay whiskies, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. It marks the fifteenth anniversary of the Big Peat brand. The blend draws on four Islay distilleries: Caol Ila, Bowmore, Ardbeg and Port Ellen. Caol Ila adds sweet, fruity notes, Bowmore a light maritime touch, and Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy depth. The nose is warming, earthy and smoky, with dark forest fruits, vanilla and buttery toffee. On the palate it is fruity, with toffee, dark chocolate and a little nuttiness, followed by a long finish of spice and lingering dry peat smoke.
