Big Peat Christmas Edition 2015 (70cl, 53.8%)

Big Peat Christmas Edition 2015 is a blended malt Scotch whisky made from a variety of Islay malts, including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen. It is bottled at a cask strength of 53.8% in a 70cl bottle, and is not chill-filtered. This Christmas release carries a newly designed label and is limited to 3000 bottles. The nose is sweet and smoky, with marshmallows and chimney smoke. On the palate it is smoky, with ash and liquorice and only a slight sweetness. The finish is very soft and smoky.
