Big Peat Christmas Edition 2018 is a blended malt vatted from Islay single malts, including whisky from Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen. It was bottled at a cask strength of 53.9% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose is smoky, with fresh peat, a touch of seaweed and a little sweet honey. On the palate it is full-bodied, with classic wood-fire smoke, seaweed and a little iodine, and spicy notes over blossom honey. The finish is very long and spicy.
