Big Peat Christmas Edition 2023 (70cl, 54.8%)

Big Peat Christmas Edition 2023 is a blended malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a cask strength of 54.8% ABV. The blend contains malts from the closed Port Ellen distillery and from every Islay distillery still working. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring, and the label carries the brand's usual illustration. The nose is powerful, with peat and smoke, a fine sweetness, maritime and salty hints, and ash. The palate is full and strong, sweet at first with liquorice root, then plenty of smoke and peat. The finish is long and firm, with sweet smoke to the end.
