Big Peat Hero Charitable Limited Edition (2020) (70cl, 48%)

Big Peat Hero is a charitable limited edition from 2020, a blended malt from Douglas Laing in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. Big Peat is built from a selection of single cask single malts, all from the island of Islay, including whisky distilled at Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen. The style is earthy peat smoke with a underlying brown sugar sweetness, and the character is described as peaty, beachy, oceanic and rather ashy.
