Big Peat Smokehouse is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was released to mark Fèis Ìle 2023 and was created to go with a festive steak.
It combines Islay single malts, and its smoky character is finished mainly in rich, robust red wine casks. The label carries illustrations, emblems and stamps that nod to Big Peat's Islay home, and the bottle comes with an illustrated story book about the Big Peat legend.
