This is an 11 year old Tennessee bourbon whiskey from Black & Gold, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is dense with vanilla and toasted brown sugar, recalling apple pie topped with gingersnaps and cinnamon. On the palate, caramelised nuts and cask char lead into earthy cigar box and vanilla pod, with a faint touch of maple syrup.
The finish is long, with oak and forest floor depth balanced by toffee and chocolate sweetness.
