Blackadder Raw Cask Smoking Islay Blended Malt is a 10 year old blended malt from Islay, bottled at 59.3%. It is a strong, smoky whisky that leans towards the character of Laphroaig while bringing together the best qualities of Islay malts. The colour is a deep amber. The nose is marked by peat smoke with a maritime influence, along with earthy notes and a subtle medicinal quality. The palate is intense and rich, with peat smoke to the fore, woven together with sea air and earth. The finish is long, with smoke and peat lingering.
