Blackened x Rabbit Hole Limited Edition Bourbon (75cl)

A limited-edition bourbon from 2023, made as a collaboration between Blackened Whiskey and Rabbit Hole Distillery for the Masters of Whiskey series. It blends a 13-year-old Tennessee straight bourbon with Rabbit Hole's Heigold High Rye Double Malt Kentucky straight bourbon, and is bottled at cask strength. After blending, the whiskey goes through Blackened's Black Noise process, in which low-frequency sound waves from Metallica's music are played against the casks. It is then finished in Calvados apple brandy casks from Normandy. The nose is usually described as apple butter, rhubarb and honeysuckle, and the palate as ripe pear, cinnamon stick, honey and black walnut, with a lingering, spicy finish.
