Blacks Triple Threat is an Irish whiskey from Blacks Distillery in Kinsale, bottled at 40% ABV. It is a three-cask blend, matured in bourbon, sherry and virgin American oak casks.
The combination gives a character that is sweet and spicy with a touch of smoke.
On the nose there is vanilla, light smoke, dried fruit and soft spices. The palate is rich and full, with caramel, honey, burnt sugar, red fruits and fresh wood. The finish is medium to long, spicy and slightly robust, with a pleasant sweetness.
