This is a 16 year old single malt from Bladnoch, in a 70cl bottle at 46.7% ABV. It was matured in sherry casks, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is built on sweet oak and spice, with raisins and juicy oranges alongside. On the palate there is rich dried fruit and fruit cake, with cinnamon, more raisin and a gentle sweetness that recalls melting chocolate. The finish is long and rich, closing on a dry note.
